The incorporation of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers in non-surgical facial rejuvenation is well established in every aesthetic practice as integral and often unavoidable treatment
modalities.

Indeed patients are becoming increasingly aware of such procedures and are often seeking a non-surgical resolution compared to a surgical treatment one. As ethical aesthetic professionals, we must offer our patients comprehensive
and realistic surgical and non-surgical treatment
alternatives at all times.

Generally speaking there is no doubt a surgical option will often provide a more longer term resolution, however, many patients may still prefer to accept a shorter term solution.

This may be because they don't wish to undertake a surgery, and the inherent risks associated with it, or because they would like a more subtle approach adopted. This certainly seems to be the case for patients in the under 45-year-old
category, in my experience.
